English Translation of Description
Zone: 1 foot wide
Tees at: 10 feet, 13 feet, 16 feet
Start at the 10 footer. Hit 5 putts. Make all 5 through the tutor and end in the zone ➡️ move back to the 13-footer.
At the 13-footer, make 4 out of 5 through the tutor and end in the zone to stay at the 13-footer. 3 out of 5 or worse ➡️ move back to the 10-footer. 5 out of 5 ➡️ advance to the 16-footer.
At the 16-footer, make 4 out of 5 or better to complete the drill. 3 out of five or worse ➡️ move back to the 13-footer.
This test was developed back in 2019 with now DP World Tour Player, Adam Blomme.
🎯 The goal was to create a test where you have to hit different ball-flights with consequences for missing on the "wrong" side.
😎The test is high-level and something to try only if you have command over your stock-shot (draw, fade, or straight) to start off with.
If you can't step off zones on a field - make your best guess on the range. The point of the drill is making decisions and hitting shots to correct sides. Translates to tournament golf with difficult hole locations.
Sum up your points after 9 holes.
In the hole = Eagle
Inside 3 feet = Birdie
Inside 6 feet = Par
Inside 12 feet = Bogey
Outside 12 feet = Double bogey
*Drop everywhere but bunker. If you drop in a divot, re-drop.
*You can use any club but putter.
